Game of the Day

Each day at the 2026 Biel Chess Festival, participants of the open tournaments can submit their games for a chance to win the Game of the Day award. The following games and players were chosen as the Game of the Day by vote on social media:

Players of all open tournaments can submit their games for the Game of the Day award.

• You can submit your game of the day until 7:00 pm. If your game lasts longer you can still do it, but must inform the arbiter immediately after it ends.

• The game must be submitted at the Arbiter’s desk on this form.

• The choice of the best game will be made by vote on social media (Instagram, X). The vote starts later in the evening and lasts until 1 p.m. the following day.

• The person who submitted the winning game will be invited to an interview in the studio. Details will be communicated by e-mail.

• The winners of the Game of the Day award will receive a nice prize.
