Indian GM Karthikeyan Murali triumphed at the 58th edition of the Biel Master Tournament with 8/10 points, clinching victory after a precise final-round win over GM Benjamin Bok. He topped a strong field of 112 players from 27 countries.
GM Pranav Anand (IND) and GM Mustafa Yilmaz (TUR) took second and third place on tiebreaks (7.5 points).
🇨🇭 IM Fabian Bänziger was the best Swiss (13th),
and 🇷🇺 WFM Alexandra Shvedova the best woman (25th).
