54th Biel International Chess Festival - Online registration from Friday, June 04, 2021

We hope to be able to organize our traditional ATO and MTO opens from July 26 to August 04, in addition to our GMT (Invitational Chess Triathlon starting July 24), the Finals of the Swiss Youth Championship and the Vinetum Tournament for Youth. A decision on the organization of the Swiss Rapid, Blitz and Chess960 Championships will be made at the end of June.

Online registration will be possible for the MTO and ATO participants from Friday, June 04 on our website. As the number of these players is likely to be limited, early registration is recommended! Your registration will be confirmed as soon your payment is successfully made.

Covid-19 measures
In order to participate in the Festival, players will receive a badge on the first day of the tournament and sign the protection concept, by which they declare that they are knowing about the sanitary measures resulting from the latest regulations of the Canton of Berne, the Swiss Confederation and the FIDE and that they are willing to comply with them without any restrictions. The links to these measures can be found on our website. Please also note any adjustments there in order to be able to prepare your trip as well as possible.
