|Rate of play||90 minutes for the first 40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an addition of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.|

Total prize fund: CHF 10'000.
|In order to receive their prizes, the top three winners must be present at the closing ceremony.|
Prizes will be shared upon the final ranking (“Hort System” won’t be applied).
|Prizes are non-cumulative.|
Special prizes are only granted to players scoring at minimum 4½ points, except for Elo category prizes.
|For the special prizes with Elo limits, the July 2021 FIDE rating is used.|
1 month free membership at Pro Chess Training for the three best players of the ATO and for the two best <1500 Elo.
|Ranking||Final standings will be established according to the points scored, truncated Buchholz and truncated sum of Buchholz. The worst score in each case will be excluded.|
Players without FIDE rating or with FIDE rating not higher than 2050 Elo in all three rating lists of May, June and July 2021.
|Players who like to participate, but don’t have yet a FIDE ID, should contact the corresponding officer of their federations or the tournament arbiter by e-mail, email@example.com, in order to receive in time the FIDE code needed for the online registration.|
|The number of participants is limited. It is therefore recommended to sign up as soon as possible. After receipt of the entry fee the participation will be displayed as confirmed.|
The admission of a player is decided solely by the organization. This decision is final.
CHF 180 (born 2001+: CHF 100), by bank transfer until July 20, 2021, based on the invoice received by e-mail during the online registration.

|No extra charge in participating at this competition.|
|The team ranking is calculated as the sum of the achieved scores of the three members of the team. In case of a tie, the team with the lowest Elo average wins. The best three teams will receive prizes in kind offered by Auberson & Fils, La Neuveville and ChessBase.|
All participants are required to confirm their presence at the registration desk from 8:00 am and no later than 11:00 am on Monday, July 26, 2021: They pick up their badges and acknowledge by their signature receipt of the protection concept of the festival and strict compliance with these protective measures. This will guarantee their inclusion into the pairings list for the 1st round.
|Laws of chess||Art. 6.7.1 Any player arriving at the board more than 30 minutes after the start the round will lose by forfeit, except in cases of force majeure.|
Art. 18.104.22.168 It is forbidden to enter the playing area with electronic devices.
|The tournament counts for the Swiss, German and FIDE rating list. Unrated players receive the chance to achieve their first FIDE rating.|
|Pairings and results||The start list is based on the July 2021 FIDE rating list.|
|The pairings for the first round will be published at 1:45 pm. For all subsequent rounds, the pairings will be published online until one hour after the end of the previous round.|
|Players have to deliver the original copy of the scoresheet and enter the result at the provided desk. Otherwise the result of the game will be counted as 0-0.|
|Declaration of consent||With your participation you agree that photographic material may be recorded and used.|
