For more than 40 years, including 20 years as technical director, Peter was conscientiously, passionately and continuously involved in the organization of the Biel International Chess Festival.
We are losing a valuable and helpful friend, who will be sorely missed. But he will remain deeply present in our hearts, and we will know how to be worthy of his so generous person by organizing in his memory a beautiful 55th edition which will be entirely dedicated to him!
We offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends and wish them strength and serenity in this difficult period.

The funeral will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10 am in Chapel 1 in the Biel-Madretsch Cemetery.
